You are here

because you are a soul-centered woman, ready to heal, transform, and connect to your inner wisdom. While yoga asana has been the foundation for your practice, you also feel a deeper calling—one that points towards the infinite love available when we wholeheartedly, with compassion, embrace all parts of the self and connect with our divine nature.

Envision a life where you feel vibrant, spiritually alive, and anchored in your truth. A life where you move through this world with an inner safety, empowered in the healing of your own nervous-system and expansively living with integrity, impact, and purpose.

I’m here to nurture and support you on that transformative journey.

EXPERIENCE DEEP CONNECTION

Re-discover the authentic self

I believe in the intuitive wisdom of the body.

Born in Ireland, raised in Sydney, Australia, I spent my early years as a dancer before exploring acting and eventually discovering yoga. Yoga became more than just a practice—it became a lifestyle and a way to heal and transform every aspect of my life. Asana and my time studying the devotional practice of Bhakti has led me to many holistic tools that have helped me to reconnect with my intuition, the wisdom of my nervous system, and to discover a deeper purpose beyond perfectionism.

Our work together invites simplicity and care.

My mission is to help individuals reconnect with their true selves through yoga and holistic practices, creating a safe and nurturing space for healing and transformation. My offering is as a guide and facilitator to others wishing to overcome anxiety, perfectionism, and trauma, and feel empowered to live with spiritual connection and authenticity, to simply be.

  • KYLIE

“For over ten years, I knew all I had to do was simply turn up to the mat for Dhama’s class, and that my psychological, spiritual, and physical self would be held with exceptional care, profound skill, and more grace than I felt I deserved at the time. On that mat, I grew, I learned, and I was challenged with true intention. I was also transformed in mysterious and powerful ways, directly as a result of the love, skill, and dedication that Dhama brings to her practice.”

  • GARY

“Dara’s teaching is sublime. Her expertise and knowledge is exceptional and she holds space with grace and elegance and teaches with compassion. Every class is different. When I was a beginner she taught me to stand and to breathe. 10 years later she still teaches me. Don't hold back, join her class at the first opportunity.”

  • DEB

“I have been a long term yoga student of Dara’s. I love her classes, they are fun and varied and reflect her deep knowledge and passion for yoga and meditation.

She has amazing body awareness and guides students through poses effortlessly and safely in and out of poses.

I can recommend her classes highly!”

  • BARB

“Dara is a kind, warm and caring woman who served as our yoga teacher for several years. She conducted a weekly class at our home, attended by my husband, two friends, and me, all of us medical doctors. Dara’s sessions became an essential part of our week, helping us to de-stress and recharge while providing vital physical benefits in a friendly, familiar and convenient location.

Dara made a concerted effort to ensure that each participant could practise yoga according to their individual abilities. She offered gentle guidance and set achievable challenges, making the class accessible and beneficial for everyone involved.

As the classes were held in our home, we often shared the space with our three dogs. Dara’s calm demeanour had a noticeable effect on them too; after greeting her enthusiastically, the dogs would quickly settle down, with one sometimes lying on her back and  joining in the practice.

We all greatly enjoyed our small, private class and were very sad when Dara had to move away from Sydney.”

  • ROBERT

“Dara was great to have as a yoga teacher. She came to my home and from the moment we met her, there was an instant connection. She is warm, knowledgeable and was a real pleasure to have as an instructor. With Covid we did video sessions which continued our Yoga journey.

As an older male, needing to improve my flexibility and strength, she was able to intuitively know what I could do and not do and made each session a great pleasure. I still miss our sessions and only wish that she had stayed in Sydney so we could have continued. I wish her all the very best.”
